The Fish of Maui Wallhanging (Te Ika-a-Maui)

This wallhanging is titled Te Ika-a-Maui or Fish of Maui, Maui is most famous for "Fishing up the Land". Legend tells us that as the fish thrashed about it formed the mountains and valleys of the North Island and the Waka or Boat formed the South Island of New Zealand.
